Hi, in English we have been doing static images. We read this poem about war and created our own static images which depict our thoughts of it. Here is mine below.

This year for the science fair the project me and my group worked on is called ‘Less Ingredients’ The members of my group are Summer and Calais.
We made a bunch of cupcakes with each of them containing one less ingredient then needed. Then we brought the cupcakes to school and we had people in our class rate them and fill out a google form. Then we worked on our slide, we put in all the results we received and worked on our hypothesis and filled out our results from our original questions.
Hello! Recently we have been learning about writing reports. Our topic was about Hineamaru. Over the course of a week we wrote a paragraph each day Monday-Wednesday and spent the remaining days putting it together and publishing.

Hello!! In the first week of school we had to start a piece of art called ‘Pepeha art’ It’s exactly as it sounds. Our first job was to take a black piece of paper and use a white pencil to colour in the outline of our hometowns/iwis. Secondly we had to paint a background using a certain colour as stripes, and then write our pepeha on the lines. This week we were learning about and figuring out what our pepehas were.
